Agreement
By using the KidMap app, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
These terms are concluded between you and MB „Finansų dirbtuvės“ ("we"), not with Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use KidMap on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Usage Rules. You may not rent, resell, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where mandatory law permits it.
Content you submit
By adding playgrounds, photos, equipment tags, or reviews, you confirm that the content is accurate, that you own it or have the right to share it, and that it does not contain offensive, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate material.
Content you submit is sent to KidMap's shared database and, once approved (see "Moderation and reports"), shown to all users. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and publish it in the app. If you delete your account, playground information (location, photos, equipment) remains without your identifier.
Objectionable content and conduct
We have zero tolerance for offensive, hateful, violent, sexual, child-exploitative, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful content. You must not post other people's personal data without their consent, photograph identifiable children without permission, or use the app to track or harass anyone.
We remove such content promptly and may suspend the accounts responsible from contributing. Text containing profanity is not accepted by the app. Any user can also hide the reviews of an author they do not want to see (review menu → "Hide this author's reviews").
Moderation and reports
New playgrounds are reviewed by a (human) moderator before they are shown to others. The exception is trusted authors: once moderators have approved at least 10 of an author's submissions and rejected no more than one in twenty, that author's playgrounds are published automatically. Reviews, photos and equipment tags are published automatically, without a person reviewing them, if they pass automated checks: a review must be no longer than 300 characters and contain no profanity, links, email addresses or phone numbers, and faces detected in photos are blurred before publication. Content from an author who is not suspended that fails these checks waits for a moderator. Content from suspended authors is not published. Any published content can be reported and is removed by a moderator.
You can report inappropriate or illegal content in the app: a playground from its screen ("Report a problem"), a specific review from its menu, and a photo by long-pressing it. You can also email appkidmap@gmail.com. We review reports and act on them within a reasonable time.
If your content is rejected or removed, or your account is suspended, the app shows you the decision and the reason for it. If you disagree, write to appkidmap@gmail.com and a moderator will review it again; you can also go to court.
Point of contact under the Digital Services Act (Art. 11–12) for users and authorities: appkidmap@gmail.com, in Lithuanian or English.
Map data and sources
The playground database is built from open data sources, primarily OpenStreetMap together with municipal and government open data. The sources, their licences, and the required attributions are listed in the "Data sources" document, which forms part of these terms.
Photos supplied by Google Places remain the property of Google and its contributors and are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service (https://www.google.com/help/terms_maps/) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). They are shown inside Google's own component and are not part of KidMap's user-contributed content.
Premium subscription
KidMap Premium is an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase, processed through the Apple App Store. Price, duration, and renewal terms are shown before you confirm a purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple account is charged for the renewal. You can cancel at any time via your device's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policy.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties as to the accuracy of the data or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Information about playgrounds (location, equipment, condition) comes from open data and from users, and may be inaccurate or outdated. Please assess the safety and suitability of a playground for your child yourself before visiting; the app is not a substitute for adult supervision. We are not responsible for damages resulting from inaccurate information or from visiting a playground.
Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under applicable consumer protection law.
Maintenance and support
We are solely responsible for maintaining the app and providing user support. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app. For help, email appkidmap@gmail.com.
Product claims
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims from you or a third party relating to the app — including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection law. The same applies to any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
Legal compliance
By using the app you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable local and international laws.
Apple as third-party beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or simply remove the app. If these terms are violated, we may suspend your ability to contribute content; personal features (favorites, visits) keep working. We tell you about a suspension and the reason for it in the app, and you can contest it by email at appkidmap@gmail.com.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Disputes with us are not subject to mandatory arbitration.
Consumer disputes with us can be resolved out of court by the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (Vilniaus g. 25, LT-01402 Vilnius, www.vvtat.lt). Before turning to it, please write to us first at appkidmap@gmail.com. For App Store payments and refunds, contact Apple.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. We will announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
